Casey and Matt’s love story blossomed amidst their shared passion for wine, culminating in a breathtaking wedding at the charming Skimstone Wines in Mudgee.
This event marked the first wedding hosted at the winery, and based on my experience photographing the ceremony suggests it certainly won’t be the last.
THE SETTING: SKIMSTONE WINES
With a shared passion for wines, the couple found their dream venue at Skimstone Wines located in Apple Tree Flat, 15 minutes from Mudgee.
Their connection with the winery, discovered during a leisurely visit, set the stage for an intimate and meaningful celebration.
THE CELEBRATION
Casey and Matt’s wedding was a harmonious blend of elegance and simplicity, with a focus on fine food, exquisite wine, and an atmosphere filled with love and fun. The event was beautifully orchestrated by Casey’s sister Deanna, who flawlessly executed the planning.

Catering: Mudgee Made astounded with their culinary delights, serving up mouthwatering canapés, mains, and a memorable cake.
The Dress: Casey’s good friend, Tirion designed a wedding capsule of gorgeous gowns for not only the ceremony but the whole trip at Mudgee. From the getting ready outfit, wedding dress, reception outfit, down to the next few days after the event, she was a glow up from head to toe.
Matt decided to go against the grain and wore a sandy coloured MJ Bale suit, which perfectly suited the wedding scenery.
Wine: Skimstone Wines, with their delightful Chardonnay, added a touch of local flavour to the celebration.
Celebrant: Tim Maddren, celebrated for his exceptional skills, crafted a ceremony that had set the tone for the day on a good note.
Marquee and Lighting: Exotic Soirees provided an effortlessly elegant setting, elevating the ambiance of the wedding.
Hair and Makeup: Marianna Grillo ensured that Casey and her bridal party looked stunning, with fresh and natural styles.
Music: Ricky Nifo, alongside his DJ, created an unforgettable musical experience, getting guests dancing even before dinner.
